Changsha Huanghua International Airport (airport code CSX) sits in Huanghua town, Changsha county, and is a major international gateway for central China, with two terminals in service (T1 and T2). From the city, the Changsha maglev connects to Changsha South high-speed railway station and Metro line 6 runs to the airport.

So which international and regional destinations can you reach non-stop from Changsha? This list is compiled from the schedules the original material published for the 2025–26 winter season (February–March 2026): 15 routes covering South-East Asia, North-East Asia, Europe and Africa. Routes and frequencies change with each season, so confirm the current timetable with the airline before you book — how to do that is at the end.

3. Schedules change: how to check before you fly

The frequencies and times above come from the original material's 2025–26 winter season (February–March 2026) schedule, and several of them carry an explicit "until" date. Airlines revise routes and timings every season (at the end of March and the end of October), and a route can change airline or airport — note that Bangkok has two airports, BKK (Suvarnabhumi) and DMK (Don Mueang), about 30 km apart.

Before you travel:

  1. Search the airline's own website or app for your exact date rather than relying on a "so many flights a week" summary;
  2. Cross-check the flight number, terminal and times on a booking site;
  3. Re-check the flight status the day before — delays, terminal changes and equipment swaps all affect where you check in;
  4. Read the airport code carefully: BKK and DMK are not interchangeable for connections or pick-ups.

Image source: the route posters from the original material. The schedules are that material's winter-season information; the airlines and airports' own announcements for the day are definitive.
