This page explains how Global Airport Maps (the "site") handles information when you visit.
What we collect
The site requires no account and collects no personally identifying information such as names, email addresses or phone numbers. You can browse the entire airport directory anonymously.
We may passively collect the following non-personal technical information in order to tell whether the site is working:
- The page path visited, the referring page and time spent
- Browser type, operating system, interface language and screen size
- Approximate location (country / city level, inferred from IP address; the full IP address is not retained)
Cookies and local storage
The site uses essential cookies only:

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. With cookies blocked your language preference will not be remembered, but no airport content becomes unavailable — every language version is directly addressable (/zh/, /en/).
Third-party services
- Fonts: web fonts are served by Google Fonts. Loading them makes a request to that service, and its privacy policy applies.
- Analytics: where analytics are enabled, we review aggregate figures only; they are not used to identify individuals.
We do not sell, rent or trade visitor data.
External links
Airport pages may link to airports' own sites or to third-party transport operators. Their content and privacy practices are their own responsibility and are not covered by this policy.
Accuracy of the data
The terminal layout diagrams are generated automatically to illustrate the overall structure of an airport and how its terminals relate to one another. They are not surveyed floor plans. Terminal counts, gates, airlines and transport details are compiled from public sources and change as airports are rebuilt. Always confirm travel arrangements against information published by the airport.
Children's privacy
The site is intended for general travellers, is not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because the site stores no personally identifying information, there is normally no personal profile to export or delete. If you believe the site has retained personal information about you in some way, please contact us and we will investigate.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
